The Impermanence of Everything

The documentary project The Impermanence of Everything (currently in progress) delves into the concept of impermanence by weaving together several threads of artists who create ephemeral art alongside individuals who seek to grasp onto the ephemeral—technologists who recreate destroyed or missing works; curators who seek to preserve transitory works of art; and architects who seek ways to create housing that can outlast climate change.

The film, directed by award-winning filmmaker Michele Meek, has received two grants—from the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts and from the Center for the Advancement of Research and Scholarship at Bridgewater State University.
